//I guess this is due to biblical illiteracy//Is that your go-to comment when people do not agree with your view?Jesus clearly said the KOG was “upon you” meaning “here, right now.”Your interpretation is strained at best.When we are dealing with the subject of hermanuetics is it not a first century view of what the kingdom of God was, as nobody mentioned my previous post I quote there understanding by quoting the war scroll or a link to it ,Verses such as the kingdom of God is within you I quoted the whole chapter The Jews were literally expecting a physical kingdom and there is so much mention of it in the old testament There is an invisible kingdom called the church at the moment which will have a physical kingdom I have so much weird theology on the kingdom of God, in some messianic circles they believe that there is a gospel of the kingdom and then there is the gospel. Jews are saved under the Gospel of the Kingdom whilst Christians are saved under the Gospel of Salvation. Then there is the whole the Kingdom of God which is within you, which uses some unusual techniques to try and get the kingdom within Then you have the seven mountain mandate/ Dominion which in tow says there are two gospels again a gospel of salvation and then a gospel of the kingdom ! One in which you have to influence people using the seven mountains. This is only three examples I could give you of all the weird and wacky theology that I have heard the Kingdom of God phraseology used. I have used it to directly unbiblical things ! Should one not go along with the other. Should not every experience be tested by scripture!
