Reading through this thread , it is understandable let them all just believe in Jesus but peoples view of Jesus is vastly different among the cults and even Christians today there is not an understanding of the fact that Jesus was both fully God and fully man The way we view Jesus and God is vitally important and scripture , the eastern orthodox deny doctrines such as sola scriptura and so do the Catholics and other group , so tradition trumps scripture Most of the doctrinal statements were made during three hundred years of Christian persecution where people like athenanius was expelled from his home town while Arius who denied the fact that Jesus was uncreated and spread that idea through popular music of the time Our view of these things is vitally important , people can be saved without knowing a knowledge of theology but everyone has a view of God and whether it matches up with whats actually in the bible. This what's so important is that is so prominent about the reformation it brought the idea of the fact that is not by our good works we get into heaven and only by grace and faith in Jesus When we talk about Jesus , he is not the ark angel Michael as the Jehovah's witnesses say or the weird idea of Jesus where he is from galaxy kolabe and that as mormans they have many spirit babies The seventh day Adventist , there is a site called formeradvebtist.com which goes into some of the views that they believe and they are as crazy as the jws but thats the whole point with the cults is to put up a veneer and say I believe in everything you do but mean something completely different , I would even include things like bethel as there view of Jesus is completely different than scripture The Bible talks about contend earnestly for the faith given unto the saints and when you stand before God you can have not a synchronism view of Christianity , we cannot have a view of Jesus other than what the Bible portrays or a view of God which is different

born again catholicsI find the concept of born again catholics an oxymoron! The reason why a catholic you have to follow all the catholic catachism such as allegence to the pope and other doctrines. As soon as you become a christian, scripture is higher than tradition. If you are a protestant, you have to follow what happened after the reformation, If you are a Christian you have to follow Christ and the bible! Like a Muslim has to follow the Quran and Muhammed. It goes the same with things like Christian denomations as William Booth started the Salvation Army and John Wesley the Methodists and so on and so on.
