Dann,This is just remarkable, what an incredible post and the responses that followed. This will stay logged and hope to refer to it time and time again. You have left me... speechless? :-? Really hard to extract but...
I begged God to change my attitude so that I could obey and enjoy obeying.

Dann, i read your post and was very encouraged by it. I know many people who struggle with this, including myself. Though i am pretty much free from the bondage of gluttony, it still raises it's ugly head sometimes. The church is filled with those who turn their head away at the thought or mention of gluttony. I believe we should try glorify the Lord in ALL areas of our lives.Praise God for your new found freedom! Praise God for the work He has done in your heart! May you continue to walk in it :)In Christ, chanin

Thank you for the encouragement brethren. One thing I am learning in my walk with the Lord - We can knock ourselves out all we want when it comes to sin - but if we are willing to come to the Lord, he can cleanse us. I am saved from the penalty for sin (god's wrath) already (through Jesus Christ)I am being saved daily from sin's power (through Christ)And one day, I will be saved from the very presence and possibility of sin - when Christ returns. How great a salvation we have inherited!Dan/\/\/\
