| Re: | | Signs and wonders have not passed away as the Cessationists would have you to believe, but they are frequently mentioned in the Word of God and they are not without purpose.
The spiritual world is real. It is an unseen realm of angels, demons, and the great cloud of witnesses, and this realm at times will break in to the natural, physical realm.
It is good to go to the Word of God and see what it has to say about signs and wonders and to put them in the right context.
One of the main purposes of signs and wonders in the New Testament is that they were given by the Lord to confirm the preaching of the gospel.
Signs and wonders were also given as a testimony of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God.
Many of the signs and wonders were in the form of healings, miracles, and deliverance of those that were oppressed by demons.
We see signs and wonders occurring with frequency in third world countries to bring multitudes of people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Signs and wonders should accompany believers as seen in Mark 16: 17, 18.
The enemy can also produce lying signs and wonders and the difference is that true signs and wonders will always testify of Jesus and the Word of God, and the false signs and wonders become an end in themselves, and men that will seek them will be drawn away from the Lord, and often the focus and attention will be on some man or woman in whom the signs and wonders are being manifested.
Mark 16:19-20, KJV So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.
Hebrews 2:3-4 How shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.
John 2:11 What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
Acts 3:6-10; 4:4 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him... [4:] But many who heard the message believed; so the number of men who believed grew to about five thousand.
Acts 5:12-16 The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade. No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.
Acts 8:5-7, 9, 13 Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah there. When the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, they all paid close attention to what he said. For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed... [9] Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great.... [13] Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw.
1 Corinthians 2:4-5 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.
Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well. _________________ Mike

| Re: | | Amen brother Mike well said. With every genuine move of God there is a counterfeit yet the counterfeit will never negate the genuine which is the agenda of the cessationist.
The testimony of how all this began was with two women who decided to start a prayer group in a little store in Georgia. They would have about 8 - 15 or so show up. Now they are having over 200 show up.
The testimonies are genuine and documented. The oil is going forth and renewing faith and revival outside the walls of the little store and the church that they are affiliated with.
We were praying earlier this year and believe that 2017 was going to be a special year, an acceptable year of the Lord. This all began in January.

| Re: | | But why oil? Has it been tested? Is it an unknown heavenly concoction or is it olive oil or crisco that can be purchased at the market? While would oil start streaming out of walls and Bibles? It is not inappropriate to ask such questions.
When feathers allegedly began falling at Bethel church in Redding none to my knowledge were ever analyzed or allowed to be analyzed. Wonder why that was? The same goes for the alleged gold dust. _________________ Todd

| Re: | | Hey Todd:
Well, oil does have a tremendous amount of significance in scripture. Anointing with oil for example. I have to be careful here as I don’t want to go to seed on this like some people do with events like this.
When I first heard the story I truly took it with a grain of salt but the Lord woke me the last two mornings at 3:00 and then this morning at 2:00 with no idea or desire to look into this story any further whatsoever. However it was dropped in my spirit to listen to some of the testimonies. I cannot explain it but I cannot deny it, I have no red flags and the testimonies, well, I bear witness with them.
If this is not of God Todd, it will come to nought, but one thing you cannot deny this far are all the documented healings, deliverances, renewal of faith, etc.
They stress and continue to stress, it’s not the oil, or about the oil it’s about God and what God wants to do through the oil. They have given away over 90k vials of oil so in a sense the oil and the anointing are going outside of their church building and touching people in other cities, states, churches, and even their own homes.
And in answer to your question yes the oil was tested and it was read in one of the videos but the oil has the characteristics of mineral oil but yet characteristics outside of mineral of an unknown origin.
One striking thing about this all is these are simple folks. They are not from a big church, ministry, or some well known man or minister.
I thought about what Savanah said and being an ex catholic I am no stranger to demonic manifestations and apparitions. But this is not an idol or statue, it is the word of God.
All I can say for me, I am already sold on Christ. You don’t need to convince me any further, I am ready to die for what I have believed and followed over half my life.
But, I will not deny I could use a touch in my body and will never turn my nose up to be encouraged and edified in my walk. As I receive blessing my only desire is to share that blessing with others, I think that is natural for all of us. As we freely receive we freely give. I just don’t see what is happening here any different.
The Lord has quickened many scriptures to me regarding this above and beyond what Mike has shared. I don’t know about others but I long to see revival in the hearts of men both inside and outside the church. If this happens to be the vehicle God chooses to use, who am I to fight against it? _________________ David Fella

| Re: | | I'm just giving you the words of Jesus here. Matthew 24 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. |
