"Thought it was an event that might lead to different lines of discussion."
Did not mean " Thought it was an event that might lead to different lines of insulting."
You are still funny. But you can be quite mean as well.
markuskiwi - try and focus on the good. There are some good comments on the link, and in the article. - the ads popping up are user specific ...
No wonder so few actually post on this forum ....

| Re: | | My question to Savannah is does he believe the story he posted is true?
My question to The Forum is do you believe that demons are real? Do you believe that Satan is real? Or do you believe he is a theological abstract?
Do you know how to deal with demonic manifestations when they occur?
Does anybody have the courage to address the above questions?

| Re: Joch | | Sorry bro. Your OP talked about oil dripping on a a Bible. Savannah posted something about a demonic infested house. I sense in this thread there is a spirit of disbelief in the spiritual realm.

Online! | Re: | | What would be the difference of this and signs that happen in orthodox, catholic and hindu temples in the same way?
Is there scripture or any church history that shares this happens and it glorifies God and proclaims the Gospel?

| Re: | | Unless I missed something, I didn't see the standard hocking of vials...these are free. dunking clothes in the oil or other things to spread the 'holy items' out for more interest in getting attention.
I don't know what to make of it, I don't redflag any of the standard charlatan moves.
I know that the scripture gives occurrences of divine things that come out of left field. 1. The angel stirring the water, and who ever gets in first gets healed... 2. Elijah and the widow's cruse of oil that keeps on replenishing. 3. Peter's shadow passing over and you get healed. 4. Cloth from Paul that brings deliverance.
What I don't see that is most important to me is the purpose of the oil. But I haven't asked the Lord about it yet either. These folks do seem genuine, I didn't pick up on any weirdness that usually accompanies this stuff.
Anyone have a differing opinion? _________________ Marvin

Blaine,
I posted both stories because I believe they're true. But I believe they're from the same source as the story in the OP.

| Re: | | One of the most significant problems in judging this sort of thing where I don't catch any easy-to-spot chicanery, is I am not among the people there. They are having a revival, a healing crusade...it would be interesting to see and discern the spirit of the people.
Are they oil focused? Are they now becoming 'sign' seekers? Is holiness, prayer, knowledge of the cross and love for Jesus increasing? I do not mean an increase in doctrine preaching, I mean evidential spiritual fruit that comes from a genuine presence of God. That is what I would like to see.
Are there any conversions and what is the basis for them? Who is getting the glory for any of this? Is it Jesus? Is it the right-place and right-time evangelist? Is it the oil? Is it the un-faded bible? Is it the church as a whole becoming 'noticeable' among other Churches?
Love believeth all things... what are all things? Those things belonging to God which should be believed. Love does not believe chicanery because love rejoices in the truth. Love does not believe in distractions and attention getting because Love doesn't puff up.
It's important to love while discerning, so that love is not admixed with cynicism resulting in spiritual pride. You understand what I mean, the spiritual pride that say..."Ha I wasn't fooled like you dummies"...but was fooled enough to think spiritual pride is less odious than being blown about by deceptions.
