Amen! This is coming from a man that did not even read the newspaper. The bible was the only book that he read.

Only those truly baptized in the Holy Spirit can truly appreciate the depth of scripture. Only those baptized in the Holy Spirit will really hunger for The Living Word Himself. Only those truly baptized in the Holy Spirit will see His Words his spirit and life. For those who are baptized in the Holy Spirit will see that it is His spirit that gives life.

Smith Wigglesworth was evidently such a man who was baptized in the Holy Spirit. And because he was baptized in the Holy Spirit he was able to wield the sword of the Spirit.

May God grant that we be such people. May God grant that we be people who will surrender to the baptism of the Holy Spiri. And in so doing appreciate and apprehend more more The Living Word Himself.
