Dear SI family,The city Im living is in chaos. People are dying. God protected me and my family and the brethren but pray for the dying ones so that they may not die without being evangelized. This country must see revival, the true gospel has to be presented before everyone before this happens. Were praying and please join in prayer with you brethren here. See the links below and you will see the situation its already making headlines.http://edition.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/africa/06/08/ethiopia.deaths/index.htmlhttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/4074080.stmhttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/4075218.stmYour sis. Dear sister,If there is comfort in this, know that we kept you in prayer throughout the day. We are praying for your city even now through this night. It isn't compared to your suffering but please receive what love we have...though many of us seem so far away. Psalm 32:7:"Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance."MC

Dear sister,We continue our prayers for Addis Ababa. I've seen pictures of the famous Lion of Judah statue near the train station...the way it stands there over the square reminds me of the real Lion of Judah...it reminds me how to pray."For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now I will arise," says the LORD;I will set him in the safety for which he yearns."More then the watchman waits for the morning Lord, we look for you this morning. Arise Lord and gather your sheep! Lord we pray for the wounded and hurting. For the relatives of those who were struck down. We pray comfort for the children and the mothers. We pray courage for the fathers who care for their families. More then anything, we know they can find these things in Jesus. Let the city lift it's eyes up and truly see the Lion of Judah and find salvation. We look for your strong hand on the authorities. Not only the local government, but also the western observers...that they may show more wisdom and understanding then in previous days. Let justice flow like a river and let goodness in Addis Ababa flow like a stream that never stops. Lord teach us how to pray powerfully for Addis Ababa. We long to see your strength in Ethiopia. MC
