Has God ever given you a book?

I was whining praying to God. What is the truth of what is coming? Is America destroyed even before the Tribulation? Who is the true prophet? Is David Wilkerson right for America? Set Thy Trumpet to Thy Mouth is pretty famous but it is 50 bucks to buy. I had looked and searched to see if there was a download I could get for it, or somesuch. So I carried on this way for weeks. Not on your knees prayer. Just niggling repeating sort of conversation.

Right now if you do a Google search or youtube search "prophecy" and it is an unending list. Does God at most only have several prophets at a time or can there be thousands at a time?

Anyway, the point being, I was at the used book store at my library, which I pick up books all the time. And there at the 25 cent section was Set Thy Trumpet to Thy Mouth. I bought it and thanked God and went straight home and devored it.

Then my niggling prayers began again. So is this right Lord? Is this why I have the book in answer to prayer? Lord knows Im lame at times. Grateful He loves me so much anyways!

So a week later Im back at the librarys 25 cent section, another Set Thy Trumpet to Thy Mouth! I buy it.

Thoughts?

"Thoughts?", you ask!

Yes. Here's the prevailing one...

"Set thy emotions to thy mortician."

Respectfully & sincerely,

a friend

Just ran a search. FYI

Youtube has a guy reading the whole book. Fisher of Men Productions.

The guy in the comments says hes going to do The Vision next.

Luke 10:41,42

"Martha, Martha," replied Jesus, "you are anxious and worried about a multitude of things; and yet only one thing is really necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion and she shall not be deprived of it."

Be still...

 Re:

Martha worried about hospitality: cooking and dishes and DOING for the Lord.

VS

Mary BEING with the Lord

Please speak plainly to me. I can be of little brain at times for sure.

Are you saying I should not be worried about such things as if there are any Prophets now speaking to us a word from God? Or that I shouldnt concern myself with this period of time in America and what it means pre-trib?

 Re: plainly speaking

What I mean is that your emotions are running to and fro!

Be led by His Spirit into the closet, where He will calm the storm which seems to be raging in your emotions.

Only He can speak, "Peace be Still."

So I say again, sit at His feet!

He can give you rest from your anxious thoughts!

Be blessed...by being in His presence...

 Re:

Ah, now I get the love behind your posts savannah.

"Peace be Still" is a lifetime waiting.

I am given peace quite often. I have been unable to give it to myself.

I await its full time abiding.

I am better when I give up all news. But Ihave been following news and internet for awhile now. Nothing like the news/internet to get me thinking future.

Ultimately the future is all good. But between now and then, not so much..
