LUKE 17 22. Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. 23. People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them. 24. For the Son of Man in his day[d] will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. Preceding these verses it tells us that the kingdom of God is within us, or amongst us.What does this say for those who jump on a plane when they hear about God doing something somewhere else and they jet off to get some of the action? Isn't this how the Toronto stuff imparted to so many leaders who then went back and infected their own congregations. If we are so sure that God is with us isn't running off to where we have heard he is actually a statement without words that he actually is not with us so we must go get some? The lost ran to these things, granted, and many were saved because they did, but to those who are children of God we are told not to do it. If we do, what does that say about where we are in God ourselves?
