| The Bible as hate language??? | | Saw an internet article that says the Bible has been declared a book of hate speech in both Sweden and Canada. Can anyone verify this? Source I saw looks to be questionable.
The political correct climate of our time would certainly suggest that the Bible will eventually be declared a book of hate language. Particularly as it relates to the LBGT and transgender groups of people. I just wonder if at present nations such as Sweden and Canada have declared the Bible to be a book of hate language. So far Google searches have been inconclusive.

| Re: The Bible as hate language??? | | Bear, Those are the two countries I have heard of their particular legislative bills if you will that point to that & that have already had legal cases of declaring homosexuality a damnable sin as "hate speech" (been some of that in Canada for awhile I know). I posted an article off of TruNews on the forums the other day whose original source was Reuters. I would not be too surprised about any of this as it has been and is gaining serious traction & footing for awhile. God Bless, Jeff |

| Re: | | I tried to discuss this with some church leaders 10 years ago...but wasn't taken seriously. Now I have just done a bit of reading and found some interesting stuff (about the US )
1983: No LGBT hate crime statute at the state level 1984: California: Sexual orientation covered in hate crime statute
So it seems this goes back many years - we had time to wake up - probably too late now

| Re: | | Brethren we're not talking right-wing fanatical conspiracies here. But we are seeing a not so subtle hostility breeding in Western Nations for those who follow Christ. Sweden, a supposed democracy, has already led the way in criminalizing quoting the Bible against homosexuality as a hate speech. I think it's safe to say that Canada will soon follow. And already the trends in our country indicate that the United States is already moving in the direction of Sweden and Canada.
The imprisoning of Mennonite pastor Ken Miller would have been unthinkable two decades ago. But now I believe he will be the first of many who will be imprisoned who speak out against the LBGT and transgender community. The LBGT has already scored victories in federal court against those who refused them service based upon religious convictions. Whereas we made poo poo or dismiss claims by the LBGT against Christian bakeries and B & B's who refuse them service based upon religious convictions this should serve as a warning of the anti-christian hostility which is developing in this nation against the followers of Jesus.
Paul Washer, in his prophetic message regarding upcoming persecution in America, said that Christians would not be arrested merely for their faith in Christ. But they would be arrested as enemies of the state. I do not think it will be that the jihadist in America who will lead the charge against the believers in Christ. But rather the LBGT and transgender community who will lead the charge against Christians.
Brethren I do not think this is something that can be stopped. But we must return to the preaching of the cross. Indeed we must return to what it means to take up our cross and deny ourselves. We must prepare ourselves for the fact that we could very well be imprisoned for speaking for the things of Christ even out of His word.
Again my brothers and sisters, simply my thoughts. |

| Re: A Further Sobering Thiught | | Brethren I posted several weeks ago an article in which two sociologists were interviewed from the University of Northern Texas. These two sociologist may have been secular in their thinking. Thus there may have been no religious agenda. The two sociologists have documented the rise of Christianphobia here in America. The results of their interviews and documentation have culminated in a book. The book is entitled, Too Many Christians, Too Few Lions.
In the book interviews were made with the power elitists, those we would call the liberal humanist. This group would call themselves the Progressive Socialist Activists. No doubt this would include those of the LBGT and transgender community. Here's the disturbing thing that came out about this book. The PSA's have candidly stated that Christians who stand against a society of equality should be eliminated.
Forum did you read the above statement? A book has documented. that those believers in Christ who opposed a liberal humanistic socialistic progressive society should be put to death. This is not right-wing conspiracy. But this is the result of 2 University of Texas socialists interviewing those who are advancing a liberal humanistic agenda in this nation.
So imprisonment would be the first step of those that oppose such a society. And then execution as the final solution. Those of you who think that this is purely academic thinking should remember the history of Germany. It was the thinking of Nietzsche that gave rise to Adolf Hitler. And it was Adolf Hitler who gave rise to the final solution to the Jews. Does it is only a matter of time before we see the final solution of the Christians being martyred on a mass scale. And I believe this will be very shortly in our lifetime.
Brothers and sisters, those who are persecuted in nations such as North Korea and Eritrea understand the cross. They understand not only the benefits of the cross. But also its requirements. They understand taking up the cross will require them to die. Literally to give up their life for Christ. We are so far removed from that reality here in America. God grant that pastors will start preaching on martyrdom and suffering as is required by the Cross of Christ.
Brothers and sisters simply my thoughts.

| Re: | | I repeat for emphasis Washer's observation that arrests will not be based on accusations of faithful conduct but of vile conduct. Ken Miller is in prison for faithful conduct. Most who will face what we say we see coming will, if arrested, be accused of things even WE find despicable. _________________ Tim

| Re: | | Whom is going to be hit first, and whom already is being hit will be homeschoolers, anti vac, Biblical Chastisement etc. We can see strong animosity not only from the world but from christians against those whom hold these views.

| Re: | | I don't know. Papa you may be right. But, the longer we go, the more I think our understanding of satanic strategy is probably off a bit. We have coalesced around so many "causes" that we have depleted our discernment on what is really happening. We will see. _________________ Tim
