Message trumps method, in my opinion of course. This is a general statement and obviously there are some limits.

I didn't listen to enough of the Jerusalem song to determine it's message- never been a huge fan of that type of music but that is just a matter of taste. In the early 70s many young people would have listened to this and been blessed by it, as opposed to someone like Bill Gaither who they likely could not relate to (calm down now I am not saying anything against Bill Gaither!).
