As a fellow member of this forum I implore you with gentleness to please review the Sermon Index Community Guiding Principles that we all agreed to. The fifth point of those principles speak of are posts being filled with gentleness toward one another.

Carmen, respectfully, I felt your posts toward Julius and the other brother were quite caustic. We can respectfully have a difference of opinion. And we can be passionate and our positions. But that doesn't give us the right to be caustic toward one another.

I admit there are times I fail in this area. And some of my post can get sarcastic or cynical. And then I need to remind myself that I will be held accountable for every careless word that I say or post in this forum. I'm also mindful of the fact that everything I post in this forum will be red around the world.

That is why. Even starting in this thread. I want to review the three guidelines below before I submit this post.

I agree with the things you have said by way of reply. I also took note of your references to Luther also and his view of the Jews and this is in my opinion still an issue that has hidden under the rug for centuries but maybe that is changing. At any rate, the issue of Israel and its corollary "Jewish problem" isn't going to go away.

Why is this still happening as the Apostles, Jesus and the early church were jewish, it was our sin that killed Jesus and not the Jews, some people say the Romans or the Italians
I support Israel and Jewish people hearing the gospel as it makes it harder for them to hear it if people say they are Christ killers and I definatly do not support people like John Hagee who say that jews do not need to hear the gospel
