Thanks for the clarification Jeff, I guess I misunderstood you a bit. I agree with you. My concern has been with this seemingly pervasive attitude of being quick to sweep this issue under the rug on account of Saeed's imprisonment.

I know it may seem as if I on the other hand am too quick to judge this situation and call Saeed to repentance without enough information or facts. But if you read my posts you will notice that I have continuously used the word "if" in reference to these allegations. Again, my concern is that there is a need to pause before continuing to endorse the public ministry of Saeed Abedini.

Sorry for all the typos and the wrong wording that was inserted. Siri is still not very good at text speak interpreting what's left of my Texas accent apparently!

Yep, we need a good ole Texas Siri.

 Re: Brother Oracio

"romanchog are you Roman Catholic?"

"I thinks it's only right that believers are aware when there is someone from the RCC engaging in dialogue here."

Brother Oracio you are wrong.

romanchog is not nor has she ever been RCC. She is a sister in Christ and dear friend of mine. RCC is not in her background neither before conversion nor after.

Brother I say this in all gentleness, sometimes you dismiss another poster's comments because of something you perceive/assume. You just did it to our sister and you have done it to me and others on previous threads. Wouldn't it be wiser to ask the LORD whether the post has merit or not? After all, if the LORD can use a donkey surely He can use someone not exactly like you. ;)

I thought I was done with commenting on this, but just wanted to set Oracio's mind at ease that I am NOT Roman Catholic. I am just this: a follower of Christ.

What my "denominational" attachment has to do with statements from the Word I don't quite get. My husband once said that Truth is still Truth even if it comes out of the mouth of a liar. And a lie is still a lie even if spoken by the holiest person here. That is why we are to be Bereans and check what everyone says.

Brethren and you might want to consider again this statement in the post by Franklin Graham.......Not everything being reported in the media is true....... There must have been a reason that Franklin made that statement. Since he has been speaking into the lives of both Nagneh and Saeed, he probably has more insight and discernment as to what has happened then we in this forum do.

Brethren we do not know what the facts are. You cannot draw a conclusion based on the allegations from one party. There's a proverb that says one who pleads his case seems reasonable until he is cross examined by his peers.

Before we rush the judge in this situation. I would suggest we wait and see what the facts are if they are revealed.

Also before we rush and judge Saeed. I remind you brothers we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Again I challenge any brother to come forth and say that he has not had issues with pornography and sexual sin. That is assuming the allegations against Saeed are true. In other words. Brothers let he that is without sin cast the first stone.

If God has delivered you from pornography and sexual sin as He is delivering me. Then who am I to judge a brother that may be caught up in this. And again I say that is assuming the allegations are true. And right now the facts are simply not clear.

Again brothers before you judge Saeed. Look to your own hearts and see where God has delivered you from. If God has extended mercy and grace to you and your sin. Then should you not do the same to Saeed?

Reasonably and respectfully posted.

Proverbs 18 17 in the New American Standard

The first to plead his case seems right,
Until another comes and examines him.

Brethren so far we've only heard one side of the story. The story coming from Nagmeh. We have yet to hear Saeed's side of the story.

"Pilgrim and Sojourner." - 1 Peter 2:11

The original post was made to really curry prayer and a realization that there is a major problem that really could bring shame to the Name of our Lord.

May we commit in prayer as Blaine shared we will know more of the true facts over time.
