 Re:

Quote: "Has this discussion about aliens morphed into a discussion about limited atonement? "

That's why I did not continue with it.

 Re:

Hmmm, "Aliens" and "Limited Atonement" kind of go together.

 Re:

I must confess that "L" is one of my least favorite petals of the TULIP, only superseded by the repellant "U."

 Re:

Not sure I see an answer to what I asked proudpapa.

I understand it's unpopular here but hundreds of thousands of people went to hell and I was simply asking "proudpapa" his take on why!

These versus say to me that no works were done and no gospel was preached in Tyre, Sidon or Sodom. And not only that but God the Son said that if that had happened they would be in heaven today! Why?

Matthew 11: 20Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: 21Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you. 23And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

TMK, FTR spend some time with me and I guarantee you will hate "T" the most. There is a reason it's first.

 Re:

So I've got a question for you guys, prolly needs its own thread but...,

Where does the sovereignty of God end and the free will of man begin?

(I've asked this since '09-10 only to come to an understanding earlier this year. So while I have in fact come to a conclusion I'd like to hear you guys/girls take on it)
