 Kingdom Authority or Crazy Buffoonery

1 John 2:20 says, "but ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things." The Holy One is of course Jesus. It's being close to him that we have the rubbing off of the oil. 1 John 2:27 then says, "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you." When you are answering God's call in your life, it doesn't matter what any man thinks about it. You better obey God rather than men. Acts 4:19

As for covering, you have a garment of rightousness through Jesus and your mantel comes from God not a man. It doesn't even come from Elijah, it's from God. The only reason Elijah had it was that God gave it to him.

Another figure or thread of the bible is the blood. The blood comes before the anointing and they are both from the Lord and not man. It is the blood of Jesus that covers you in God's commission for your life. Your prayer life takes place in a figure when you boldly enter the throne of grace. You in prayer enter the Holiest with the blood when you confess your sins and present your petitions to God. Your prayers keep you covered with the blood.

You are covered with the armor of God in type also. Again it is your prayer life. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit...... Ephesians 6:18

You are Christ's ambassadors not ambassadors to some proud person who wants to keep you in bondage or some person who has accepted a teaching that is in err. The devil is the one who doesn't want you to walk in God's call to go into the world and preach the gospel. Paul said it was by power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit that he could do the things he did. 1 Corinthians 2:4, Ephesians 6:10 with Acts 1:8
