Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29
Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Philippians 2:3
Romans 14:19 - Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

My post was addressed to a single member (OP). And it was my intention and is my hope that that member was encouraged and edified.

| Re: | | Philip Mauro died in 1952, in 1922 he wrote a book that essentially claimed that the restoration of the physical nation of Israel is just a fable. In 1948 the new nation of Israel became a reality but it was said that God has nothing to do with it. That this new nation of Israel is but just a coincidence or a result of zionist conspiracy that escaped the sovereign counsel, is something that I cannot easily believe.
David Bercot's bias towards patristic writings made him vulnerable to lingering criticisms about his misguided persuasions. |

| Re: | | passerby have you read Philip Mauro's "Things which soon must come to pass" A commentary on Revelations ?
RE: ///David Bercot's bias towards patristic writings made him vulnerable to lingering criticisms about his misguided persuasions.///
Bercots biasness makes no difference to me, We can all agree that he is extremely educated in church history. The point I was makeing is that : historically your view passerby does not seem to have been held by the "early Christians, the Anabaptists, the Reformers, and in fact all Christians before the 19th century."
edit add :
RE: ///Philip Mauro died in 1952, in 1922 he wrote a book that essentially claimed that the restoration of the physical nation of Israel is just a fable.///
The premise of Philip Mauro's : "The Hope of Israel: What Is It?" is that the Gospel is the Hope of Israel. Mauro makes a very clear biblical case for this reality.

I do not believe that the nation of Israel that we have today has escaped the sovereign counsel, But I am not convinced that those scriptures that are used to support Israel in Prophecy are being interpreted correctly. Since Darby and Scofield dispensationalist have highjaked eschatology. If dispensationalist eschatology is correct than I believe that dispensationalist Michael Pearl is most likely correct in what he stated in his last news letter : " The Jews are looking for a man of war who will establish a lasting peace, elevating Israel to a place of prominence-the exact ministry of antichrist. Christians are caught up in the fervor and are assisting the jews to recieve the fake Christ when he comes.

Hi Julius21, If you are asking did I get something from God directly scripturally I would have to say most definitely yes. I did not have a dream or vision but this is what the Holy Spirit clearly showed me. God pointed out to me regarding the move of the spirit in the end time. All Isreal went out to the wilderness to see Elijah on MT Carmel And Then When the Spirit of Elijah moved again through John the Baptist the bible says All Judea and the Surrounds Went out to see John
When the Spirit of Elijah comes at the end time to sort out any mess within the Church then All will hear what the church has to say and either accept it or reject it. I believe based on what happened to John The Baptist and Elijah before him that a large amount of people will be swept into the kingdom, Yours Staff
Hi Staff,
My beliefs line up more with Alan Morrison's explanation of "Elijah", in his article "The Restoration of All Things".

"Elijah" is not who you think it is -

I have not read all of the first one yet but I have liked what I have read so far, feels Sober.
In my fellowship we have an individual (highly educated)whom has become intoxicated with dispensationalist prophecies. He has gone overboard into obsession with Biltz,Lindsey,Cahn, beast watch etc. It just does not feel Sober to me.
And It does not matter how much and how clearly there prophecies and predictions do not come to fruition. Like a brain washed cult member he defends them An Asteroid that safely passes by Earth is to him a fullfillment of an Asteroid hitting earth. A little minor correction in the stock market is to him a fullfillment of a majior economic collapse.
To him Obama and Hitler are ethnic Edomites in a secrete war with ethnic Israelites.

| Re: Concerning the end of the age | | Followthelamb, I love this.
Indeed, the world is in darkness and it's a darkness that can be felt. Some may interpret the times of its fulfillment differently, but by the end of it all,the outcome will have been the same, that's for sure! Isaiah 60 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
1 Peter 1:19 "And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts..."
Which brings me to think on the result of that Truth shed abroad in my heart. Hebrews 13 says, "Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come." And Romans 8:17, "... if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
