Phillip it is so vital today that we stand on the word of God for truth and not the teachings of men, I know it is hard after we have been told so many teachings by men. Look at what the early Catholic church taught regarding penance, mother mary confessions to the priest etc.
There are many today that are starting to search scripture to see if what they are told is true and scriptural, they are being set free from doctrines of man.
Please and I beg you please search the scriptures for yourself to see if what you say is scriptural.
Jesus Himself told us when he is coming and he said to not be deceived.
Jesus could not have made it any clearer.
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Jesus own disciples asked Him this personal question, what is the clear evident thing that will be seen regarding your Parousia. It is the same question we ask today as believers.
Jesus told them exactly what the clear evident sign will be before He comes and even told us when to look up.
Why would Jesus spend two whole Chapters in Matthew 24 and 25 talking about His Parousia unless he wanted us to know.
He even told us to learn the parable of trees.
Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Here is that Parable
Luk 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; Luk 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. Luk 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
You wont find any verse in all scripture where Jesus says he is coming before the Tribulation.
So why believe in a doctrine that has not one verse to support it??
Why not just believe the words of Jesus Himself
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Mat 24:36 But of THAT VERY SAME DAY of His Coming which He said happens after the Tribulation period has ended no man knows, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
But we do know what happens before He Comes and we do know when to look up and when our Redemption draws nigh, it is clearly not yet.
Give me one verse that states Jesus is coming before the Tribulation,
Is Jesus telling us the Truth when He said he is Coming after the Tribulation or do we believe the words of man??
Do we learn the parable he commanded us to learn so that we will know the signs before he comes or do we listen to the words of Men?
I Beg you brother search the scriptures and let the word of God be your Doctrine.
I love you in the Lord |
