 A Glorious Church (March 26-29)

``TO PRESENT TO HIMSELF A GLORIOUS CHURCH...`` /

The Bible says that Jesus is still on a mission. He has a powerful vision in His mind; a vision that He gave all to see realized, and that, come what may, He will see realized.

He gave Himself so that He might present to Himself a glorious church. A radiant church, a vibrant church, a spotless church. A people who not only represent Him, but look like Him, act like Him – because they have been formed in Him.

The first Adam longed for a bride, not knowing what He was looking for, naming animal after animal in stunning creative passion as he searched for a companion. Desperately he studied each creature that he named, but was stifled as he found none “suitable”, none that would fit him. No one he “belonged” with.

The last Adam longs for a bride, and His father longs to give Him one, a people fashioned and shaped by the Holy Spirit to be “bone of His bone, and flesh of His flesh”. A people whom He has named with His name; a people who are born of His image. A people who come from everywhere, have been through everything, and yet even still, say “Yes” to His proposal through the Gospel.

This people, distracted, divided, and disillusioned as they may be at present, will grow up into a mature people, a church so glorious as to be worthy of the King of all Kings. We, yes, weak and broken you and weak and broken me, will grow up into Him who is the head of all principality and power. We will be formed into what we already are by His blood, a spotless bride manifesting His wisdom and walking in His love.

We will come to the unity of the faith. We will come to the fullness of the stature of the measure of Christ. This will happen, because He gave Himself for it to happen.

This 4-day community gathering will be a biblical exploration of all that Jesus gave Himself for, and what we can expect via the prophetic scriptures that will aid in bringing us forward from today until that day. Through interactive sessions, breakouts, presentations, and panels, we will explore together God’s word to re-discover God’s ways, His ancient paths, for the church and her glorious future.

Quote:
For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. (Rom. 15:4)

We need hope. Perhaps now more than ever.

Deep darkness is covering the nations of the earth, and will continue as the harvest of wickedness grows alongside the harvest of righteousness here at the end of the age (see Matt 13). The promise of God, however, is that His Word will have the final say, and His church, the pillar and ground of truth, will yet demonstrate and give witness to Christ like never before. His glory will be risen upon us! (Isaiah 60:2, 1 Tim. 3:15)

Join us as we delve, primarily through the book of Ephesians, into a convocation and celebration of the mystery of Christ and His church.

Registration is FREE but seating is limited to allow for depth of interaction. Consider joining us, registration is now open!

I have no vested interest in this conference but felt I should bring to the attention of the saints.

Brother,

Thank you for sharing, Bryan Purtle is a friend and good brother. I do recommend this event to brethren especially local to the Kansas City area.
