About the Response:

We believe that America is in a state of crisis. Not just politically, financially, or morally, but because we are a nation that has not honored God in our successes or humbly called on Him in our struggles. The Response: Louisiana is committed to prayer above politics, to seeing the church moved to stand for righteousness, and to pray for God’s mercy for America.

Why is the Response happening? Why should I come?

According to the Bible, the answer to a nation in such crisis is to gather in humility and repentance and ask God to intervene. The Response: Louisiana will be a historic gathering of people from across the nation to pray and fast for America. Governor Bobby Jindal has called Louisiana and the nation to a day of prayer at Pete Maravich Assembly Center – N Stadium Drive in Baton Rouge, LA. from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. People from all ages, denominations, ethnic and racial backgrounds will gather to fast and pray for America.

This is very encouraging to see a high government official calling the nation to repentance and prayer.

The call to fast and pray in this hour of crisis is going across the land from many corners, may the church heed to call!

We are very blessed in Louisiana to have men of God that have played a major role in turning this state around.

I have been blessed to be a part of the prayer movement in Louisiana in which there are intercessors all over the state that intercede and pray for God's Kingdom purposes.

The Response has been covered with prayer and intercession and there has been a daily prayer call for the last few weeks.

We praise God that our governor has opened the door for these meetings and their are godly men and women that are coordinating this event with prayer being at the very founation of it all.
