THE EAR, THE THUMB AND THE GREAT TOE OF A PRIEST....PT 2

TEXT: LEVITICUS 8:23; 17: 13
"And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot."

" For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."

Objectively and in principle, Atonement translates and relocates the atonee to a zone where his ears are open and opened to the voice of God. Whenever atonement is effected, the scripture that says, "behold the tabernacle of God is with men!" becomes a reality.

No man, whose sins have been atoned for ,is supposed to strain his ears to catch instruction from the throne of God above: why? Because he has been brought to a zone where God exists...he has been made one with God...he is at-one-ment with God! The slate is clean now. His sins which are many have been forgiven. This is the effect of all atonement.

Put differently, when a man accepts the atoning blood of Jesus as enough and sufficient to pay for his sins against God, the ability to hear God, is automatically installed in his entire being. Not to hear God is but an aberration wherever atonement is in place. No atonement, no capacity to hear God...atonement does not only gives ability to hear God, but gives the capacity to hear God sound and clear,

So, God's man must not place his hope on noting else but the atoning blood of Christ. For him to be able to collect instructions, both for his life and that of the people under him, he must be seen hoping on nothing, not even the sweetest frame, but on the blood only.

In short, a man that has not accepted the blood of Christ as the only source of his moral cleansing, is but a dead man...many priests or men of God are not born again through the blood yet they are attempting to hear God, this is impossible. We need to know that it is only through the blood that a man is made alive, thereby making life and healing to invade his hearing ability.

Are we indeed within that perimeter where God's voice can be heard? Biblical doctrines and Bible studies are not what we have in mind hear neither are we talking about going through three months Bible school: but an apprehension of a second to second and hour to hour nudging voice of God of over and in the minutest details of our lives.

To have heard God well is to have lived well...if our ears have problem we would not be free from falling, failing and bruises in life. To hear God surely is to live surely, safely and securely. Whenever a priest stops hearing God, the people under him can go and look for another priest. Not to hear God is to be as good as dead.

A man that hears God is the most current and the freshest of all. Hear God and you would be dear to man! The church needs priests that can hear God: priests who, by reason of their acceptance of the atoning blood of christ, have been moved to a zone where reception of God's voice is a reality.

Friends, brothers and sisters, no man needs to go for any special training for the purpose of hearing God: PhD in divinity and angeleogy cannot make a man gain access to God's voice...neither intense meditation is a requisite: but atonement can do the magic!

All that have accepted the atoning blood of Christ as their title deed for their redemption and forgiveness automatically and inherently have their whole being made whole being rewired to understand God and his ways! Do you want to hear God? Then turn to the blood and let it first cleanse you...there is a fountain, flowing from Emmanuel vains...come and acknowledge Jesus! To be continued.
