Just stand firm in whatever amount of faith you have. Faith comes by hearing, hearing comes when God speaks. There is a willfull drawing back from 'the faith' I don't think that this is your case at all. The kind of faith that God is after is not a dry intellectual faith, I am sure you know that. Subsequently the kind of unbelief that he speaks of is not mere intellectual unbelief.Look at the 'prodigal son' the unbelief that led him to misery was a lack of true understanding of his father's nature. He felt somhow cheated, his dad was holding out on him so off he went on his own. ON his return journey his mind may have been throwing up all sorts of doubts - but onward he pressed, his face set twoards his father's house. It was home or death for him. This is the faith that God is looking for. Set your face twoards him -forgetting what is behind-and press on. Remember that the Person who you are talking about was willing to be hammered to a cross for you before you ever had a desire to walk with him. How much more is He there for you now that you do have that desire.Taco.
This morning, praying..."...why do doubts arise in your hearts?"Luk 24:38Something to brood over keeping it all in context, and the intent it seemed is for my own self as much as for anyone else.
