A Pharisee spirit is never far away when one does not beware when they stand. The dearest brothers I know are kind and loving and loyal and only ever think the best of me. A pharisee spirit on the other hand is quick to think the worse, then judge, then be unkind and begin to throw you under the bus so to speak. It leaves a bitter taste in the mouth but even there, the enemy seeks entrance into our hearts and we must always stand upon love. We are called to be as wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove.
