What's goin on with you?
Have you considered going into the highways and byways,as you very well know that the harvest is plenteous and the laborers few!
You may do some good for others if you were face to face with the many faces who are out and about with needs for compassion.
Ministries like frontline ministries or Living Waters.

Dear brother,
That comment is uncalled for and is un-founded. The brother was just posting a good video about really what is going to become worse and worse. We are all called to be witness and also to be praying for the Church and all believers. Some of us are lacking greatly in the latter also.
Please in future comments let us edify each other and not accuse and tear each other down. The videos are quite alarming but we must face the fact we are at the end of the age and therefore must live like it.
yes witnessing is part of the obedience to the times we are living in.

let me say that a little louder:
I HAVE NOT BEEN CALLED!....and I am not foolish to play games with God, because I fear God, and I've seen men in their foolish religioustic or humanistic ego, "go out there" IN THEIR WEAK AND PITIFUL FLESH...and "try to do something for God", as if the Master od the Universe, Yahweh, needs man, do anything "for" Him?
especially when said man, has NOT been called?
I've watched many men give sermons, soaked in religious pride, veritable "ten shekel and a shirt" hirelings, putting themselves "out there" to be seen......say the doxology, and then head to the Denny's with the trustee's to plan the next "event"......not me.
and dear one, at one time in this life, I was a trained performer, professional, money making.....believe me, if I was a wicked foolish deceitful son of the dark, I could rent a tent, and go cross country with "revival meetings", and put on a show you would not believe, i'd weep, i'd moan, I'd shout, i'd shumbala mumbala to beat the band, and at the end of the evening, i'd be counting those buckets of money, huckstered out of the helpless hapless sheep of God.
But I love the Lord Jesus too much, mounting that Cross, shedding the Blood, and not only do I FEAR God...I know His Voice...and he has not Called me.
for some when they read the Word of God, its almost like an abstract, I can see that angel flying to Isaiah with the tongs and the fiery wood.
You don't KNOW me, God does....I destroyed my marriage....to my best friend, I was adulterous, we both were....aint a drug I haven't done....and you want me to go out there without a Call?
Every morning, i'm in the Word, and praying, and for the last two years, I've been overcome with Grief........not human sorrow, Godly grief....lay on my face, over two years, weeping.....knowing the Storm that's coming....so you want me to go out there....You?...without a Calling, and tell the people:
"ANNOINT YOURSELVES FOR BURIAL!! BECAUSE THIS LAND WILL BE SALTED WITH FIRE.....YOU'LL WATCH YOUR BABIES BURN LIKE A PORK ROAST IN NUCLEAR FIRE?!?

My whole family is barely hanging on....I cant tell them, all I can do is ALWAYS be there with my limited resources just to get them thru another month, trusting in God, interceding for them......healing things with the mother of my son, praying that she see me different and we re-marry, because for 15 years, I have known no other woman?
only a fleshling goes out into the harvest without a Call.
others of us, Wait on God, despite our weakness and failings, of which I have many.
don't think i'm angry with you, I love you, I just wish your exhortation would embrace wisdom a little bit more, which is ironic coming for somebody like me, in Jesus love, neil

While we were once protected from these atrocities, we have foolishly sent God "away" and Satan is having his way. They are able to steer storms in the same way that we steer our cars. Using the dual polarity Doppler Radar that we have blessed for our "protection," and the over 250,000 towers that we have begged to be installed for our convenience, as a means of fine tuning the whole mess. Consuming huge amounts of power that we have demanded to be harvested and kept for our comfort.
Oh how foolish we are, looking to ourselves when we needs be looking to God. Plotting and planning for our flesh when it is our spirit that is in such great need. |

But come on folks- this same video could have been made 75 years ago if we had the technology and likely 250 and 1000 years ago.
I was watching a program on The Weather Channel last night about the 10 worst tornado outbreaks in US history; over half were from over 50 years ago. If you look at historical weather archives many record temperatures (highs and lows) were set 100 years ago, 80 years ago, 70 years ago, 10 years ago etc. You get the point. And remember, we are now much more aware of the awesomeness of tornados etc because practically every person now has a video camera. If we had video of the Palm Sunday tornados in 1965 we would be just as horrified.
Floods, fires, famines, earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, meteors, etc. have always been going on. When the Yellowstone volcano erupted long long ago the dust cloud enveloped and buried animals near the east coast.
The New Madrid earthquakes in 1811-1812 would have been absolutely devastating had they happened today- there just wasn't much population when they occurred.
If someone can explain to me how the events in the video are somehow a harbinger of something other than nature being nature, please share why, especially in light of what I posted above.

I wanted to say thanks for posting this. I know the burden on your heart to share these things and point them to JESUS. Storms are in deed coming, and not just the kind that show up on the radar. Things with Russia and China, the economy, the continued rebellion against GOD in this country, abortion, sexual immorality, it all points to things coming to a head. As Greg mentioned I believe these things will only increase as the days draw near. I feel a deep pressing on my heart every day to be praying, seeking GOD on behalf of the lost. To pray for those facing persecution around the world, and to pray that HIS own be encouraged and embolden to speak HIS WORDS and walk with HIM daily.
It is a very good reminder not to be afraid, as soldiers(prayer warriors) there are times when I can look out across this country of ours and tremble out of fear of what is to come and yet I am reminded to stand firm in HIM. To hold tight and know that these things must come to pass but HE has overcome the world! Our battle is not with flesh and blood but on our knees before KING JESUS! I rejoice in HIM that HE is here with me, I give thanks and praise HIM for giving me the strength and courage that I need to continue on in prayer, to share the light of JESUS with those HE gives me leading to.

I don't know if the weather is really, actually strange compared to weather in the past. I agree with TMK. But, nevertheless, many in the world perceive strangeness in it. The strangeness of the world that marks our time in any particular way is strangeness with Christian suffering. We are the strange. We are the odd. We are the ones who, because Jesus owns us and we obey Him, are rejected, insulted, and for some in many places, killed.
The weather seems odd to me. It is the coolest weather in May during the last week that I can remember in 47 years here in Alabama. But, let's not be distracted by it. Let us not be sidetracked by the events and phenomena of men and devils.
Let's press on in prayer, in serving, in telling this gospel of Christ, in love, in truth, in worship, in the Spirit of God.
