On my way to work this morning a pastor pointed out that Joseph was no just a carpenter, but a Master Carpenter, and that one of the things a MC did was make "yokes" for beasts of burden, which skill Joseph taught Jesus ... The reason such jobs were given to MC's was that if yokes were not precisely made they caused pain and chafing to the beast, another reason being that the MC also knew exactly just how much wood could be whittled away to make the yoke as light as possible without compromising it's strenght ...

Pastor said bottom line is we're all beasts of burden who will either wear a yoke made by the devil or Jesus, and all of us that are saved know to a greater or lesser degree just how painful satan's yoke is, and while Christ will not put anything on us more than we can bear, satan will attempt to break your back everytime ...

Just wanted to share ... i'll always hear this scripture much differently now coming from the mouth of our Jesus, the Master Carpenter ...
