Ilchamus of KenyaThe Ilchamus are a Maa people living south and southeast of Lake Baringo, Kenya. It's a poor community and lacks most modern facilities. Many are uneducated and illiterate and many can only communicate in their local language. It's a very traditional and culturally bound society, hierarchical, and male-dominated. They live from fishing in small boats made of balsam trees. They are eager to learn new things, seemingly eager to create a better life.Ministry ObstaclesThe literacy rate for these people is not high. The good news of Christ needs to come to them in oral form, as well as in written form.Outreach IdeasPlease pray that Kenyan Christians of other tribes will be led by God's Spirit to take the Gospel to the Ilchamus tribe.Pray for the followers of ChristThere are a few Christian believers among the Ilchamus people. Please pray for teachers to help them grow in the admonition and nurture of the Lord.Pray for the entire people groupPray for rising literacy levels, and for the availability of good schools. Pray that parents will have a heart to help their children become well educated.Scripture Focus"Now go out to the street corners and invite everyone you see." Matthew 22:9

Isn't Kenya where Denny Kenaston used to go frequently, and where his oldest son is a missionary? I'm not sure which part of Kenya, or how big the country is.
Sister,I believe it is Ghana they are working in: http://charitychristianfellowship.org/missions/ghana
Thanks for the correction :)
