Online! | Re: Reading the WHOLE New Testament in APRIL!! | | The reading plan actually starts today with: Matthew 1-6
If you are going to start with this plan it will take about 30 minutes to 1 hour per day to keep up with it. I am sure many of us can make time as an priority to read and be blessed by the Word of God.
If you want to hear a great testimony about reading the Word of God and keeping it as an priority I encourage you to listen to this message by Keith Daniel: The Word of God _________________ SI Moderator - Greg Gordon

| Re: Reading the WHOLE New Testament in APRIL!! | | This sounds like fun, I haven't read the entire New Testement in one swoop in years.
It would also be interesting to have a seperate forum dedicated for those whom the LORD shows some understanding whilest we/they are reading this New Testement this month. Since April is a Spring month surely something fresh will come out of this.

This way we can discuss what the Lord is showing us with the other people who already have been reading through the whole bible in the last 3 months. _________________ SI Moderator - Greg Gordon

That was a very good sermon! I highly recommend it as well.
I am pluggin' along through my plan. I am a bit behind but can't wait to get to the New Testament. I need to finish the book of Daniel and read through all the minor prophets.
I also look forward to being a part of this. I have been all along, just sometimes a bit behind. If I stay caught up, then I will feel better about posting what God's been showing me while reading through. _________________ Yolanda Fields

| Re: answered prayer | | Hello fellow readers,
What I found paticularly striking in this sermon is the connection between personal holiness, answered prayer and bible reading. I am current in the plan and book of Matthew is a place of the Word of Christ. I was reading today and was struck with the idea of what an awesome priviledge it is to share in the words of the Living God. Thank you for the oppurtunity to be part of this fellowship.

Amen, I love that sermon by Keith Daniel, it has and is really chaning my view on the Word of God and the preciousness of it. What a blessing that we can read through the Words that God has given us! I look forward to hearing what verses the Lord sticks out to you brother. I am as equally blessed with the opportunity to partake in this online fellowship. Love you brother.
If anyone still wants to join in you can. 8-) _________________ SI Moderator - Greg Gordon

| Re: thank you | | I wanted to thank you Greg for your kind words; somehow reading them struck me deeply and gave me a sense of connection to you and this site that wasn't present previously.
I was in my new apartment today after signing the lease and I prayed with just me and the empty apartment, on my knees with my bible. I was struck by Matt 18:4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. I have been reading Murray's '...School of Prayer' and it talks about our relationship to Almighty God as His children and the priveledge that we have , in Christ. When I look at the happines of a little child I know why Jesus brought them to Himself. After being with the disciples and the Pharisees how much of a relief to feel the arms of love that are in a child's grasp and the truth of a childs' smile, without all our supposed learning and wisdom. How long will we struggle to love God as a child when so many years have passed since innocence has faded and dissappeared?
Our Father who art in heaven...
God bless you Brother Greg and you too Sister Yolanda and all my other family in Christ
