| Bible Software for Mac OS? | | I am in process of switching to a Mac, but discovering that there is much less Bible software available. I am currently running e-sword through Virtual PC but it is very slow in comparison with the PC version. The currently available Online Bible for Macs is several versions behind the PC software, and MacSword is in the earliest stages of development and hardly useable.
So Mac users, what are you using and how are you getting on with it? _________________ Ron Bailey

Hi Ron,
Wow your switching to an Mac! I have been using my apple ibook 12" for about 9 months now and its been the best computer experience to date. Be forewarned that the MacOSx operating system is a different animal then Windows XP, you will have to unlearn some ways of doing things but overall I think Apple is much more intuitive and really makes the computer experience much better.
I have been using Mac Sword which is quite suffiecent for me. The one premier bible software for the MacOSx is: Accordance which after looking at it forawhile it seems to outdo most other PC bible softwares, especially in the original langauges section.
I believe the site is: http://www.accordance.com _________________ SI Moderator - Greg Gordon

| Re: | | I have been using Accordance software for two years now. Both Apple and the software have been the best experience in computing. I no longer have to work at making my computer work.
I do not have all the features that Accordance offers. I spent $39 two years ago and have not had any need for any thing else. It is just like the Bible, $39 dollars will open the kingdom what else does one need.

| Re: | | Thanks for these comments. I have just received my Accordance. I went for the Accordance Library at their reduced price of $59. Its looking good although it looks as though its going to be expensive to have all the modules I've been used to. _________________ Ron Bailey
