In Communist countries it was illegal to render aid to the poor. People used to be able to do it freely here, so what is going on that it no longer can be done?
You labeled it correctly dear sister. In most major US cities now it is illegal to do so. May God give wisdom to the saints of God as we enter into these times to find our the Lord's will and adjust as needed.
This incident brings to mind the exhortations from 1 Peter to not give up and to take the punishment because we are looking to the Day of The Lord where every action and inaction will be judged. Then they will have to give account for what they done to us for demonstrating the love of God.
