When I kept Silent .. about my sin, my body wasted awaythrough my groaning all day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me;my strength was SAPPED as in the heat of summer. THEN I acknowledged my sin to youand did not cover up my iniquity.I said, " I will confess my transgressions to the Lordand YOu forgave the guilt of my sin Psalms 32:3-5These verses describe the agony and penalty that concealed sin brings. When David hid his sin and did not acknowledge it to God, he lost His health, Peace of mind, happiness and favour with God. In its place, he experienced guilt and inner torment.BUT THEN I acknowledged my sin . Acknowledging and confessing sin with an honest, sincere and repentant heart will always result in God's gracious pardon, the removal ofguilt and the gift of his abiding presence. How Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord DOES NOT count against him Psalms 32:1-2
