 Re: Irish Preachers

So...... Are you looking for the Word of God or just an accent? Derek Prince has a British accent- which may not fill the acoustic requisite, but he certainly has a good word.

 Re: Irish Preachers

Trueblue-

J. Edwin Orr was born and raised in Belfast. I know that may not exactly fit the part of the country you are looking for but it is close!

He was perhaps the leading authority of much historical revival in modern times.

He has some 65-70 messages on SI as I recall. On many of them he hearkens back to his childhood home in Ireland. He tells some wonderful stories. In addition he was actually used in some major outpourings of God's Spirit. Not like many who only know about it.... he had experienced it as well.

If others come to mind I will post them but J. Edwin Orr came readily to my memory.

Blessings!

 Re:

TrueBlue-

My pleasure brother.

I thought I would also mention that his testimony is a great first listen. It sets a framework that gives his other messages a little more context and imparts a fuller understanding when you know where he came from. It details his early life in Ireland and then how God began to use him in revival/renewal.

If you haven't searched through the speakers and found him yet that particular message is at

http://media.sermonindex.net/0/SID0163.mp3

There is a bit of an introduction and he actually starts speaking at about the 1:35 mark.

Blessings!
