Any cultural observer would admit that Canada has become more hostile to Christianity and the religious convictions of professing believers. Just recently, Canadas New Democrat Party leader made the comment that opposing homosexuality goes against Canadian values, it goes against Canadian law
NDP leader Thomas Mulcair said he wanted a grant to a group that provides humanitarian aid and services in Uganda stopped because of the groups belief that homosexuality was wrong. Such a picture of tolerance.Forgetting Canadian law for a moment, making the statement that opposing homosexuality goes against Canadian values is erroneous. Its an attempt to assert that every Canadian supports homosexuality, something the media and liberal lawmakers are attempting to do here in the U.S. The idea is that if they make it appear that everyone supports homosexuality then anyone who doesnt will be considered ...read more: http://engagefamilyminute.com/2013/03/first-canada-then-america-speaking-against-homosexuality-is-a-crime/

Gay lobbys next target: Benefits in all 50 stateshttp://thehill.com/business-a-lobbying/308085-gay-lobbys-next-target-benefits-in-all-50-statesIt is only logical to expect that someday the Bible is either outlawed or publishers are enforced to take out references to homosexuality or sodomy as sin. Using the word homosexual or sodomite could be classified as "hate speech". Government Churches (501c3 orgs) may be required to not discriminate and to hire homosexuals and marry them, bury them, baptize them, etc, etc., or else lose their tax exempt status. "This does not mean we are homophobic."
Brother Greg,I thought that these insights from Michael Brown might be relevant to this discussion. We as the church must not capitulate to the culture. I do pray that we speak the truth in love to all captives of sin.In Christ, sister lesliehttp://www.charismanews.com/opinion/in-the-line-of-fire/39991-6-lessons-from-the-collapse-of-exodus-international
I am learning alot from all the articles written by Christians online concerning this gay marriage issue. Yet, as they are posting the articles, the laws are still impose on us worldwide in favor of it.We need a new strategy.pq*
Brother,I agree with you fully there needs to be a major change of thinking of larger church groups and denominations in the West. A time is coming that churches and para-church organizations will have to forfeit their non-profit status for the sake of the truth of Scriptures and the testimony of God. Churches should be preparing for this now. Be prepared to lose your bank accounts, benifits and buildings. This is a major burden we have had for many years for believers in the West to start to prepare for what most of the world's Christian deal with a daily basis: Persecution. Though persecution varies in degrees and we do not wish strong persecution. But we must be prepared for something. This is why a group of believers (myself included) released a free ebook and book to help believers prepare: http://gospelfellowships.net/principles-book/
We have been saying that eventually persecution would reach our shores. Indeed some are saying that it is already here. The SC has pretty much legalized same sex marriage. The next evolution would be to make the LBGT a protected class of cittizens. Thus any speaking out against them would be considered a hate crime. Pastors who declare homosexuality a sin will face stiff fines and jail. Next will be to declare any literature that speaks out against homosexuality declared illegal. There goes your Bibke unless it is gender neutral Before you say Bear you have been nipping to much on the honey wine. Google the case of Pastor Ken Miller. And look at what the SC has just done.Welcome to the end times saints. Bearmaster.
We live in a world that is Anti-Christ. Yes, it has reached our shores. True Believers are a very small minority in this world and a thorn in the side of anti-God, anti-Christ forces. I am just talking about those who refuse to bend the knee to Baal. Those who are being faithful to Jesus and walking in Love. And walking in love means not telling people lies. Loving, kind people of God are being persecuted and killed all over the world. The forces of evil are lining up. "Fasten your seatbelts" and prepare to love your enemies.
