I would like to ask for prayer for my 6-yr old daughter. She is the youngest of my 9 children. Since her father died two-and-a-half months ago she has been praying asking for her father to be raised from the dead. I have asked her why she prays this and her answer is that her father used to spoil her, so if he comes back to life he will spoil her again. What she really misses is his special thing with her. I would not exactly say that he spoiled her, but she was the youngest of all and a girl there was that tenderness that existed and a certain degree of leniency.I don't really know how to approach this. One time I told her that her Dad was already buried and if God was going to heal him or raise him He would have already done it. She answered that God can do anything and it does not matter how long her Dad has been dead. Of course, I cannot argue with that, but I know that is probably not going to happen. The fact that her prayer is not getting answered is not bothering her at all. She is very cheerful generally and full of energy. However, my 8-yr old son gets very sad every time she prays this when he is around. I am not sure why he gets sad, but I gather he knows this is not going to happen and does not want to be reminded that his Dad is dead.If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it. Thanks. God bless you.
