"These are nightmare bacteria that present a triple threat," said Thomas Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. "They're resistant to nearly all antibiotics. They have high mortality rates, killing half of people with serious infections. And they can spread their resistance to other bacteria." ...

Interesting.

Wonder what God is saying?

Reckon he is knocking the prop of professional health care out from people forcing us to once again trust him for their health?

I used to hold medicine and its attending institutions in high regard but this respect has been tarnished after I became aware that for most it is a business that preys upon the weak, the suffering. And....James 5:14 is still in the Bible.

My thoughts...

YEs, this is one of the judgments coming and happening even now. It is happening faster and deeper afflcitions upon a nation and church that has rejected the Lord God. We see in Scripture the consistency of God allowing and causing plagues and pestilence upon the people who forsook Him; in hopes that they would humble themselves and repent and seek Him once again.
But if they don't respond rightly, then the next level is 7X worse.
It's in that old hymn, 'Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling' the third stanza, 'deathbeds are coming'
