Re: Oh you will be blessed

Couldn't but help react to this brother

Quote:
I did buy "Oswald Chambers ~ The Complete Works" and must say I think I will truly enjoy this book.

Was just pulling together the next bit for the other thread. The CD is great because it also has the interviews with their daughter and also "Abandoned to God" Which is not included within the pages of the book.

Ah man, this is truly a treasure chest full of riches! It is tearing me up in the most profound way... I am rejoicing with you brother, feel like I found the lost ark :-D

Edit: Thanks Krispy, had noticed that book in the travels as well, the list grows longer...

 Re:

Well for me, it forces me to read carefully what these Men of God are saying. Sometimes, I find myself re-reading so I don't miss anything.

I realize that nothing will replace God's Word, but to have people like Oswald Chambers and others, and their thoughts and comments, truly gives me a new insight to the Word.

So much for my self imposed silence...

This is so well stated. Absolutely.
The threads running right now on the word of God, Bunyan's 'computer', even the recent, more 'high profile' (just by means of his place in the worlds eyes), talking about Brian "Head" Welch the rocker turned convert.... his words have just embedded into me...

"The book of life"

By whatever means necessary, that we get into it but more so that it gets into us.
