Greetings GregI read this and the other thread you posted on this topic. This discussion on gay marriage and companies who support it has been a difficult one for me. I find there are those who support outright boycotts of these companies and yet as I look around and see the list growing daily of businesses that support gay lifestyles and marriage I wonder how should one precede? I can tell you with out mentioning names, that my bank, my grocery store, clothing stores, internet provider, cell phone manufacturer, ect. all support this agenda. As I said the list keeps growing as the world spins deeper into sin as an acceptable way of life and further from CHRIST. Yet I pray and wonder how are we to respond to these businesses, to the people behind them, and those who are lost and deceived in their sin whether it be homosexuality or any other sin? Do boycotts really work to help them see their need for CHRIST? IF one does feel led to boycott over this then what about companies who are steeped in other sins should they be boycotted as well? I realize the article you shared was not about boycotting companies or protesting their support for this agenda but I just thought I would see what others are seeing on this since it does seem to be the way many Christians feel led to respond. For me I am in a place of prayer and seeking to know HIS heart and as always praying for those who are in rebellion to see their need for JESUS and repent.God blessmaryjane
Sister,Yes I shared the article not to promote an agenda to combat what is happening but for the believers to realize we are quickly going to the place of the book of Acts where homosexuality was practiced in Rom and other places of leadership and accepted but the early Christians lived holy and separate, there was a clear distinction from them and the world.And yes as you mentioned dear sister we need to pray and have a heart for grace for all who are lost and away from the Lord.
