 Words Frame Your Life

I want to talk about the power of words on a very practicle level because words really are framing your life. Think about it, words shape your thinking that's why the scripture says, be transformed by the renewing of your mind, you renew your mind with words. Words influence what you believe that's why the scripture says, faith cometh by hearing. Also words influence your actions, what you think influences what you believe and what you believe influences your actions that's why the scripture says, faith without works is dead. Every action has a consequence. In James 3:2-8 James talks about the effects the tongue has in your life because words effect you mentally, physically, and emotionally. Proverbs 21:23 says, "Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles." Proverbs 4:20:22 says, "For they(God's word) are life unto those that find them and health(medicine) to all their flesh." And Proverbs 18:20 says, "A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips(words) shall he be filled." So words influence your entire life spirit, soul, and body. Think about how many situations in your life would be different if you thought differently, believed differently, or acted differently. That's one way the word of God can change your life from the inside out. Because it's what's going on on the inside that determines what you experience on the outside. Think about how your life could be different if you thought in line with the word, believed in line with the word, and acted in line with the word.

 Re: Words Frame Your Life

FranklinB,

1:1 IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
