So war is on the sight todayAnd passions stirred to take the swordbut peril lurks within the frayto drown out pleadings from the LordFrom hidden place the unseen grinhis flaming arrows find their markAs brothers break the bond of peaceAnd loves light is eclipsed by darkYet mercy stands in readinessEach wounded soul to bindAnd overcome the wordy messWith gentle words and kindA time to mourn when brothers fightAnd stand at odds to warContending for the carnal rightNot worth Christ dying for

Murmuring Against One Another by Alan Martinhttps://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=15047&commentView=itemCommentsAlan Martin shares from a deep burden of seeing brothers yield to murmuring against one another. This is such a plague in the body of Christ. It is unsettling to see so many lifes shipwrecked by carnal and critical words. Where is the fear of God like David had, where we pray "Lord put a watch over my mouth, and keep the door of my lips." May the fear of the Lord come upon us all.
