Re: please pray about neighbor girl

Dear sister,

I can understand that you are in tears about this. I find it marvellous to hear about Jewish people who really follow the Old Testament. Many Jews have left Jehovah entirely...

"Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid.

Neither do men light a lamp, and put it under the bushel, but on the stand; and it shineth unto all that are in the house.

Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfil.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished." (Matthew 5:14-18)

Christ is the fulfilment of the Law and the Prophets...and He and we are the light of this world, also to the Jews.

In all your posts I sence a true love for Christ and Him alone. I'll pray with you today about this.

The Jews are still God's chosen people...and I think it is already an awesome thing that they worship the true God. This is the first step to the acknowledgement of Jesus as the Messiah.

I hope and pray that the Lord will grant you wisdom. He won't fail you. He's with you..and He loves His children (Christians) and He loves His nation (Israel). Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might!

A beautiful prayer is this one:
Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.

O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.

O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name" (Daniel 9:17-19)

Shalom,

Paul
