an obvious conection wichcraft ; prosperity gosple

Prosperity theology (sometimes referred to as the prosperity gospel or the health and wealth gospel)[A] is a Christian religious doctrine which claims the Bible teaches that financial blessing is the will of God for Christians. The doctrine teaches that faith, positive speech, and donations to Christian ministries will always increase one's material wealth.

Its proponents teach that the doctrine is an aspect of the path to Christian dominion over society, arguing that God's promise of dominion to Israel applies to Christians today. The doctrine emphasizes the importance of personal empowerment, proposing that it is God's will for his people to be happy. The atonement (reconciliation with God) is interpreted to include the alleviation of sickness and poverty, which are viewed as curses to be broken by faith. This is believed to be achieved through visualization and positive confession,

The New Age Plan To Defeat Christianity
By Sherry Shriner

When the disciples asked Jesus what would characterize the last days just prior to His return, He explained that it would be a time of the worst religious deception the world had ever seen.

He said sound doctrine would be despised and wondered if there would be any faith left whatsoever on the earth when He returned (Luke 18:8). He gave His disciples a solemn warning: "Take heed that no man deceive you" (Matt. 24:2,5,11,24). He characterized the last days as a time of religious deception - or - deception in religion such as false messiahs, false prophets, false miracles, and false doctrines. All four were prophesied to band together to pave the way for the Antichrist (Matt. 24:24,25;).

This prophesied deceit is the same band of deceit we are being infiltrated with today. The metaphysical realm has exploded into our culture bringing with it shamans, gurus, psychic phenomenon and the paranormal in precognition, telepathy, clairvoyance, telekinesis, automatic handwriting, channeling, and astral projection. These have already become the fastest growing occultic interests in the world. More recently mind science has been gaining worldwide acceptance as people learn how to properly use their minds to visualize everything from success to bending a metal spoon with their mind. The same false miracles or "wonders" we were warned about but that few take notice of.

It is realistic to suggest that those who read of false miracles that will occur in the latter days think of the same miracles Jesus performed but from a demonic source. In many instances this is indeed the case with supernatural healings that are talking place all over the world. But Satan also has his own agenda that he subtly implemented long ago and is now pushing ahead in full stride - psychic phenomenon and the paranormal.

In Matthew 24:24 Jesus warned us of psychic power that produces counterfeit "great signs and wonders" that would occur in the last days. The power of the mind, the unknown, and accomplished superhuman feats that are grasping audiences worldwide. A strange departure from the past when psychic phenomena was held at an arms length as ridiculous and ridiculed. But even then it had a strange fascination, the unknown always has to those who don't read their Bibles to know that there really isn't anything unknown about the "unknown."

For the last days Jesus warned of unprecedented religious deception of the demonic kind. A wide range of deceit one might not even suspect as demonic. A time when the last days church would become so corrupted that it would actually begin to oppose and deny what Christ taught while at the same time insisting that it is faithful to Him.

A deceit so pervasive and manipulative that many wouldn't even recognize it as the prophesied demonic invasion it is. To those familiar with Biblical prophecy it doesn't come as a major surprise. Jesus Himself warned of worldwide religious deception on an unprecedented scale just prior to His return.

In this article I'm going to inform or shock you about the deception that is being embraced by our world and church leaders today with open arms and reveal Satan's plan to attack and try to defeat Christianity.

The New Age Assault On Christianity

Christianity may well be facing the greatest challenge in its history: a series of powerful and growing seductions that are subtly changing Biblical interpretations and undermining the faith of millions of people. Most Christians are scarcely aware of what is happening and much less do they understand the issues involved. The seduction is surprisingly easy. It does not take place as an obvious frontal assault from rival religious beliefs. That would be vigorously resisted. Instead, it comes to some Christians in the guise of faith-producing techniques for gaining spiritual power and experiencing miracles and to others as self-improvement psychology for fully realizing human potential.

Many have taken for granted the comfort zones of their churches without realizing the enemy isn't outside the gates he is within our midst. He has so infiltrated our camp that many simply no longer can tell an enemy from a friend, truth from heresy.

What's happening to our church today? The New Age of disgrace. A time when many of our own church leaders have embraced Positive Thinking and faith-producing techniques for gaining "spiritual" power. Robert Schuller has become one of the biggest supporters of these new heresies. He preaches that faith is a force that makes things happen if you believe they will. In other words, faith is not placed in God but a power directed at Him. For many evangelicals "faith" no longer requires God as its object, but is touted as a positive power of the mind that creates whatever we want it to.

Thus what we pray for will come to pass, not if God wills, but if we can only believe it will happen. Schuller has said, "Your unconscious mind...has a power that turns wishes into realities when the wishes are strong enough."

Dealing with unconscious reality is what sorcerers have been doing for ages.

Anyone who imagines that because he thinks certain thoughts or speak certain words God must respond in a certain way, has slipped into sorcery and if not playing God, is at the very least attempting to manipulate God. The Ascended Master theology of "positive thinking, positive faith" slipped into the churches years ago and it is dominant among the even newer theologies of being able to create your own reality or changing the development of one's soul where they experience the things they choose to as they reach into higher levels and realms of "christ consciousness." Some refer to it as positive thinking, others call it Angelology, others the New Age. It's all garbage no matter what you want to call it.

There is no room for magic in a Christian's life as it is plainly a pseudoname for sorcery. Those in the churches are consistently promoting New Age propaganda preaching man's own will above God's. How one can make the world into anything he or she chooses through the power they already have within them. New Agers have been preaching that line for years. The underlying theme is that by creating your own reality and living in your own dream world there would be no thoughts of sin, accountability, and judgment. No thought of placing God's will above your own as you conjure up visions of materialistic possessions under the guise of faith.

Enticed by such false teaching Christians begin to view prayer as a religious technique for getting their own way. They set their sights upon what they want, then try to have faith to make it happen. The blab it and grab it Seminars in "How to Write Your Own Ticket With God" by thinking certain thoughts, speaking certain words, or visualizing goals are eagerly attended by thousands. True Christian faith has no comparison to this kind of New Age "faith." Don't be deceived for this faith is also known as visualization, guided imagery, and witchcraft. Visualization and guided imagery have long been recognized by sorcerers as the most powerful and effective way to contact the spirit world (demons) for supernatural power and knowledge.

New Agers have claimed for years that we can bring anything we want to into existence through visualization such as good health and success because we can create our own reality. It is one of the fastest ways into the occult imposing your own will upon God and other people. These mind manipulating techniques for creating health, wealth, or spiritual power are not new, they have always been a part of the occult. It is simply a devise by Satan to get a person to trust in their own imagination rather than God. The Apostle Peter said, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you at the proper time" (I Peter 5:6).

Creative Visualization by Skye Alexander

Before a house can be built or a dress can be fabricated, someone had to imagine it. The architect or the fashion designer first created a mental image of the finished product. That's what creative visualization means. The same is true in magick: visualization precedes manifestation.

Whether you realize it or not, you're constantly visualizing. When you read the word “apple” you instantly form an image in your mind. When you converse with someone, you mentally witness the scenarios being described

Creative visualization isn't merely running pictures randomly across the landscape of your mind, however. The images you create have specific purposes. Some years ago, researchers discovered that cancer patients could improve their health by visualizing Pac-Man-type creatures gobbling up can-cer cells. You can use visualization to facilitate relaxation, as mentioned earlier, to get a better job, to protect yourself and your loved ones — just about anything you desire.

The Power of Imagination

As a child, you probably played make-believe and imagined all sorts of fanciful situations. Perhaps you still spin out vivid daydreams or indulge “what if” scenarios in great detail. Conjuring up images at will and directing them toward carefully chosen objectives is the essence of creative visualization.

Most people underestimate the power of thought and the ability to change reality by changing your mind. But when you get right down to it, most of the decisions you make — especially the life-altering ones — are shaped in your mind long before you take any action. You might imagine a number of possibilities in detail before finally selecting one route to follow.

Sometimes the things you fear most come to pass, because you keep worrying about them and investing them with emotional energy. This is an example of the power of imagination at work, in a negative way. A witch never puts her mind on something she doesn't want to happen.

Your thoughts and visualizations guide energy in a particular direction. The Buddha said, “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.” Metaphysicians believe all thoughts resonate in the cosmic web that links human beings with everything else in the universe. When you form an image in your mind, you plant a seed in the web's energy matrix. The more you nourish that seed, focusing on the idea with deep feeling, the more likely it is to grow into something tangible.

Visualization in Magick

Visualization is a key component in magickal work. You must be able to form a picture in your mind of the result you intend to manifest. Clear, simple, vivid images generate faster and more satisfactory results than indistinct or confused concepts. First envision what you desire, then fuel the vision with your willpower to cause your intention to materialize. Your will animates the image and moves it from the realm of spirit to the physical realm.

Author Shakti Gawain brought the concept of creative visualization into widespread public awareness. Her bestselling book Creative Visualization contained ideas that witches have long utilized, and presented them in a way that virtually anyone could easily understand and apply in their daily lives.

Of course, there are right ways and wrong ways to use visualization in magick. The most important rule is to envision the outcome you desire. Don't focus on the problem or condition you wish to change. For instance, if your goal is to heal a broken leg, don't think about the injury — envision the leg strong and healthy. Don't concern yourself with the steps that lead to your destination, either. Just concentrate on the end result and the rest will fall into place.

Make sure to include yourself in your visualization. See yourself rolling in a pile of hundred-dollar bills or happily performing the job you desire.

Imbue your visualizations with as much sensation as possible. Instead of only seeing something occurring, allow yourself to hear, taste, smell, and touch as well.

Don't keep changing your mind or the images you've created. It's okay to refine and enrich them, but if you keep putting out new and different visions you'll confuse the matter.

Be patient. Some intentions take a while to manifest, especially complex goals or ones that involve other people.

You can create visualizations for yourself or for others, but if someone else is involved you should get permission first. Otherwise, you may be interfering with that person's free will or manipulating her. Visualizations for the good of all, such as envisioning world peace, are generally okay.

If you have trouble visualizing, here are a few tips that may help you improve your imaging skills:
•
Think about your intention as you fall asleep and bring it into your consciousness as soon as you wake up in the morning.

•
Use photos or pictures cut from magazines to strengthen your visualization process.

•
Display images in a place where you'll see them often throughout the day, to continually remind you of your objective.

•
Connect physical objects symbolically to your mental images. For instance, in a love spell two candles could symbolize you and your beloved.

Above all, believe that your visualization will bear fruit. As motivational speaker Denis Waitley puts it, “If you believe you can, you probably can. If you believe you won't, you most assuredly won't. Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad.”

Many saints simply do not recognise the danger of using the natural mind as an instrument to project outcomes. It is seen as neutral spiritually and the only time a person is checked is when they speak so called negative things. One must always “speak positively” no matter what, is the mantra. This is itself spiritualised and therefore justified in that way. Visualising on the other hand can take almost any form without being challenged. Having been delivered from an occult mind when I was first saved I find it very easy to recognise the danger of this way of thinking. As a matter of reality this teaching more closely attends to the way witches and sorcerers work than it is possible to describe. At the root of it lies a demonic attitude which shifts the focus of a saint from fruits of the Spirit to visible power. So that it is power which excites and not thankfulness for God’s goodness and mercies in life.

This doesn’t mean that those who have embraced this way of thinking are themselves wicked or faithless. It simply means that challenges in life are not met with true spiritual authority reflecting the teaching of the Cross of obedience and self-denial, but with either the spoken word of authority to bring into effect restraints or else changes in the material elements, or else administrative frameworks in which almost everyone is in leadership. In the end it often comes down to an individual restraining their impulses in rather the same way one would have to do in the work place or else in business. In this sense it is a faith of individuals working to their own egotistic or material benefit. This is precisely what witchcraft is like. Those of us who are tempted to take this route to the kingdom of heaven should be aware that sorcery or witchcraft is in the first instance a fruit of the flesh. We don’t need demonic leadings to practise these things (Gal 5:20).

I watched 25 years ago as some so called Christian cults which were centred around a single individual began to move away from the obvious visible abuses which these cults practised on their members, to a model in which the members were empowered by thinking that their own opinions were taken seriously. As many of these people were themselves rejected in life and suffered self-effacing inclinations this was very successful. It didn’t change anything in spiritual terms one man or woman still exercised an evil influence through their personality and the members were in the end no better off. These leaders were simply shifting the paradigm of perceived responsibility to the individual themselves. Truly wicked! Yet this has come into the true church where healing as well as the pursuit of wealth and wellbeing is projected as a righteous ambition, but where the responsibility for success is the individual and not the true leader or leaders.

The true minister of God is a servant of all and their power lies in their calling of God to serve. Firstly by faithfully praying for the flocks of God, as well as exercising spiritual authority to a testimony of good effects for the glory and honour of Christ Himself. Both preaching and teaching according to the measure of faith given as well as speaking with authority those things which are necessary to restrain wickedness and foolishness. It is astounding how difficult it is to help someone who is trapped in this way of thinking. It goes right to the heart of individual pride. And in the end anything said which does not uplift the heart is perceived as robbing a person of their right of individuality.

One word that appears a few times in this article that I consider important is the word "technique'. Many ministries teach how one can accomplish something by using their technique. In my opinion when one senses this to be the case you do well to quit reading it and go do something else. It is a mere waste of time and could even be dangerous because the devil can use these in a subtle way to tempt you to use it to get what you want.

There just is no substitute for casting all our cares upon Him because he cares for us. (Paraphrase of 1Peter 5:7.) How the LORD will choose to answer our prayers are far above and well beyond our imagination - sometimes. And sometimes He says 'no' but will then give us the grace to endure whatever we find troubling. So why trouble about learning all these techniques? unless you do not have a satisfactory relationship with the LORD...

I think that these words of yours sister probably sum the issue up very well indeed. Apart from any insight one might have into this problem which Gary originally posted on, the visible and practical danger can be easily identified by this idea of "spiritual techniques". The reality of trusting God daily and sufficiently enough to accept His provision to meet our needs is a much more faithful attitude to have. It does of course man that we may suffer more than we would naturally wish to suffer. But then the end of it would in that instance be more fruitful as well.
