As for the Idea or debate over the President of the United States, well as Christians let us remember that our citizenship is one of the Heavens and our King is Jesus. Allegiance belongs to him and him alone.
Amen all hail King Jesus. |

| Re: Depends what you look at | | Get a passport and go to a foreign nation on a mission trip, it changes your perspective on things. Especially the way we view our own country. I know going up North and abroad certainly makes me appreciate the freedom I have in South Africa. Really is an open heaven in many respects, and God is doing amazing things in spite of what the government is doing. _________________ Zeke Oosthuis

| Re: So Question...Are you Praying for Your Leaders? | | Bush will be my hero when I took get a tax break...I still haven't gotten my $400 from last year...In all honesty rolling back taxes on the wealthiest in America only increases their wealth and the populus (you and I) gets poorer and poorer and if you look at what happened to all the great empires of the earth which fell (all of them) was the small number of people who had all the wealth and power vs the poor and pissed off populus...Right now the system in this country (it is quite ingineous I must say) is set up such that the populus has not time to really get involved in the political system in a way that makes things fair because we spend all our time working and paying bills and if we have a little money left over to go out and shop, we're happy and we don't think to go an further than that coz we have enough to handle already. Those who don't have so much drama in their lives can afford the luxery of voting or running for office or making their positions on certain issues known so that policies can be made that suit them. _________________ Farai Bamu

| Re: | | Pride causes blindness in those who profess it. I believe that the wine spoken of in Revelation 17 speaks of the pride that blinds, the pride that causes men to stumble. If one were to compare our country, the U.S. with other industrial countries, we would find in many aspects that we are on the bottom of the lists. Crime, health care, abortion, pornography, education, are all areas where we, statistically are ranked well below other industrial countries.
One area we rank supreme, our budget for defense is larger than the next 14 countries combined. I believe the number is 14, correct me if I mispoke. What is the fruit of what we believe in as a nation?

| Re: | | Wrath
Yes I say Wrath must be the answer to a Nation that turns it's back on God's Mercy.
But remember Sodom and Gomorra, if there had been 10 good men it would have been spared.
Then again remember that none is good save GOD.
Food for thought.

Jeff,
I want you to know that I am "hearing ya" all around this forum- and I agree. :-)
You are "in the know" where most people think they know. much of this is kept hidden and will only be revealed to the pure in heart.

| Re: | | Michael,
i read what you wrote before you deleted it. you are probably right. that was probably not a very nice comment for me to say. I don't want to sound like some sort of "elitest"- like i know it all either- because i just don't. :)
