Re:

Psa. 25:1 To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. 2 O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.
3 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed;
Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4 Show me Your ways, O LORD;
Teach me Your paths.
5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.
6 Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O LORD.
8 Good and upright is the LORD;
Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.
9 The humble He guides in justice,
And the humble He teaches His way.
10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth,
To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
11 For Your name’s sake, O LORD,
Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
12 Who is the man that fears the LORD?
Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.
13 He himself shall dwell in prosperity,
And his descendants shall inherit the earth.
14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him,
And He will show them His covenant.
15 My eyes are ever toward the LORD,
For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.
16 Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me,
For I am desolate and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart have enlarged;
Bring me out of my distresses!
18 Look on my affliction and my pain,
And forgive all my sins.
19 Consider my enemies, for they are many;
And they hate me with cruel hatred.
20 Keep my soul, and deliver me;
Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,
For I wait for You.
22 Redeem Israel, O God,
Out of all their troubles!

In verse: The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him,
And He will show them His covenant.

In this psalm David speaks of God teaching and leading him. David speaks of the Lord showing him the secrets of the Lord. By which covenant does the Lord reveal His secrets to David?

 Re:

In Psalm 25 we have this thought......

4 Show me Your ways, O LORD;
Teach me Your paths.
5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.
6 Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.

What covenant changes the heart so that one might know His path. What covenant brings to man God's tender mercies and lovingkindness?

 Re:

Psa. 61:4 I will abide in Your tabernacle forever;
I will trust in the shelter of Your wings.
Selah

Psa. 84:1 How lovely is Your tabernacle,
O LORD of hosts!

Psa. 132:7 Let us go into His tabernacle;
Let us worship at His footstool.

The covenant of circumcision brings one into His tabernacle not made by the hands of men. Many teach that the OT saints could not experience the heavenlies, yet the word of God was sang by many saints who lived before Jesus came to save the world by His sacrifice. Would God's word not accomplish what He sent it out to accomplish. Would the hearts of the OT saints not sing a new song. By what means does the word of God enter into the hearts of those who believe?

 Re:

Eccl. 5:1 Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil.

Do you see the two covenants in this Scripture?

The first part represents the covenant of circumcision, the second part represents the covenant of Mt.Sinai.

 Re:

Heb. 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

How could Enoch please God? Paul teaches: Romans 8:

5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

We know that the precepts of God never change. We know that by one man sin entered into this world and all were condemned. We know that by the second man righteousness entered so that many would be saved.

By what covenant was Enoch enabled to please God?
