 Who was Judas' Father?

I have read a couple of thing that speculate who Judas' father could be. I am leaning toward Simon the Pharisee who was a leper, but I am not sure this is right. I am looking for others ideas as to who (if possible to know) this Simon was. Please give me your answers and the reason for your answers. Thank you and God Bless.

 Re: Who was Judas' Father?

Obviously, his spiritual father was the Devil. I don't think the Scriptures give us any insight as to who his earthly father was. Why do you think it was Simon?

Judas' father was: Mr. Iscariot!

I know who his mother was too, if you're interested.

(PS... be careful of "traditions" that can not be proven in scripture. Many church "traditions" pertaining to how people died, or lived, or where Biblical events took place came from the fanciful minds of Catholic popes and priests)

 Re:

If I were the father of Judas, I would'nt want anyone to know who I was. Only that what Judas did fulfilled the Word of God. A can of worms

Warrior, what reasons do you give for thinking it was a Pharisee named Simon the leper? Just curious. Have never heard that before nor even the question. What provoked the question?

I was kind of wondering the same thing actually. The answer is inconsequential, however I'm still curious how the question ever came up.
