Hello,I have recently "discovered" Leonard Ravinhill. God has used his sermons to convict me and to make desire to seek him with even more intensity. Can anyone reccomend any of the "old time" preachers on sermon index who are powerful preachers like Ravinhill? Thanks!

Paris Reidhead comes quickly to mind. "Ten Shekels and a Shirt" is the one for which he is famous, but the other 128 sermons are filled with genuine gospel and spoken with breathtaking authority. He was a contemporary of Len, and references his associations with others like A W Tozer. He quotes Wesley and Finney, legendary Theologians and Evangelists. You will have some things to chew on!!

I agree with Sidewalk, when I first came to Christ Ten Shekels and a Shirt shook my very core and belief system. I give credit to Paris Reidhead for helping me develope a solid understanding of the Gospel.
