2 Corinthians 4:4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. What do you think this means? I am talking to the people who know they have to give up there sin.
By itself, the meaning of this verse in confusing. When one reads it in context it makes sense.2Corinthians 4:1-4 NASB:1 Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart, 2 but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every mans conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,4 in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.Simply put it means the god of this world has blinded the minds of people so they will not understand the gospel. Does this make sense?ginnyrose
