I ask myself, what did Jesus die and resurrect for? We could have just kept on sacrificing animals. From the very beginning when Adam and Eve put on the fig leaves we have been trying to get right with God by our works. It's in our nature of unbelief that wont let us understand what happened on the cross. To me I've finally come to understand that what I need to repent from is my unbelief. And I'm so much more in love with God for that. I cant believe that something I couldn't earn before that now I am supposed to be able to earn it? In John chap 6 when the people asked Jesus what work should they do, he replied the work you should do is to believe in me.
