Good News for a Sinners Bad Situation

The bad situation is that man is a lost sinner estranged from God and on his way to a devils hell because he is deserving of the wrath of the Holy God against sin.

The good news is that God who is Love sent His Son who came to seek and save lost sinners by commending His Love toward sinners still sinning to show His love by dying on the cross paying the penalty to win the sinners love and friendship that causes the sinner to repent and love his Savior that leads to a lifestyle of holiness.

Any thoughts…Thanks for all who respond with whatever thoughts you may have.

 Re:

Thanks Elizabeth!

We also know that Jesus didn’t come into the world to condemn but to save and that it is “the goodness of God” that leads the sinner to repentance. I can’t help but notice how the apostle describes how rich in goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering God is to the sinner in leading him to repentance and that we are not to despise God’s goodness by condemning others. We should display loving kindness toward others in leading them to repentance instead of unkind judgment that is void of love.

Romans 2:3-4 (KJV)
3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
