Apostolic Vision (4 of 4) by Art Katz

Apostolic Vision (4 of 4) by Art Katz

Spoken in 1993, a powerful arrow to the heart of the church’s lethargy toward God. The third message is on Apostolic Conversion, a transcription of which is on the website.

Return to a Biblical Church by A.W. Tozer

This is a message from A W Tozer dating from the period he served in Toronto, Canada. This message is from a series that addresses the foundation of what it means to be part of the Church and can serve as a beginning of the outworkings that Brother Art has said. Tozer tells about the tabernacle movement between the first and second world wars. I think there is a noteworthy correlary to the mega church movement. He makes connection to the fall of the tabernacle movement to the Great Depression and the great debts they incurred with their building projects.

I shouldn't go too far discussing these interesting correlations and will trust the Spirit to reveal the things you need to see. Blessings on all those who can hear what the Spirit says to the churches through these brothers.

A Call to Those Who Care About the Honor of God by Carter Conlon

A Call to Those Who Care About the Honor of God by Carter Conlon

Topic: Honor Of God
Scripture(s): Nehemiah 1:1-11
Description: October 4, 2009 - There is a spiritual wall that separates those who are truly serving God and those who are bringing carnality into His church. If God is going to be honored in this generation we must begin to rebuild the testimony of Christ in our lives. You may ask yourself how does this happen? How do I begin to rebuild this wall? The first thing we do is apply the truth of God's Word to every area of our life where we are not in agreement with Him. Secondly, we must remove the rubble in our homes that has blocked the door to the prayer closet. Lastly, call our children by example into the work of God. Suddenly there will be a people arise and begin to build according the ways of God and they will do it all for His honor!

I hope you do not find my words rude about this but what are we to do when we hear messages such as these? Yeah, they inspire us and reveal to us the state of the church but beyond that are they for our own edification in our personal lives? How are we supposed to respond to them?
