How do you know that it is not your flawed, sinful self that is telling you that you trust the Spirit above your flawed, sinful self. I say that because, in my understanding it is just like our flawed, sinful self to tell us we trust the Spirit when we might actually be trusting our belief that we are?

I am merely asking a reflective question - because, after all virtually all we posters would see ourselves this way.

My knowledge of how I know is based on personal observation and revelations gained through reading the KJV and comparing it with other translations. Guess it is a personal thing.

Thank you, WS. It looks like you have come to your convictions through some observation and revelation. I suspect you would nevertheless rejoice when another is drawn closer to truth even if through a different translation.
