| God,is a living God | | Our God, He IS a Living God !
How do we know this ? When we are born of God and receive from Him the Holy Spirit,... We know because He lives inside of us.
The Holy Spirit is : Word Spirit, because God is : Word,Spirit. So when we have His Spirit with-in us,....
He brings His Words up in us.
(Jn.14:26) Jesus is saying,... ...' the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my Name, He shall teach you you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said unto you.
That is how He brings all things,...His Words, to our remembrance... when we are thinking on Him, ...in need of a Word,...sometimes in words of a song, when we are not even thinking,.....He just brings it up in our Spirit., ...really a Comforter to us.
I am so glad that we have the Bible to always confirm what He,the Lord is saying / teaching us, it is such a blessing to us. But the early church did not have this New Testiment word, the Lord just brought it through inspiration of the Spirit. He brings the Word up in us also, but we can go to the Word and confirm what He is saying to us in that Word plus continue to read and our cup just over- flows.
Wanting to share, Be Blessed, Elizabeth

This brought to mind this Scripture...
Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
To me, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly" means that we continually meditate on the Scriptures that the Lord has brought to our mind. This is where He is wanting to teach us about something that we need to learn. This is the source of "all wisdom." This is how Christ dwells in us....

And let us,.....All the Saints of God, ' be rooted and built up in Him,as we begin this new year, that we might be overcomers in Him and bear the testimony of Christ,...abounding with thanksgiving in our hearts unto Him.
Be blessed every one of you, Elizabeth
