 Re:

Well not really sure, I am certain that my marriage is through though in the sense that things have only gotten worse. (Of course when things get worse it means the Heavenilies are battling that much harder).

Today however was a strange day because my wife hurt her ankle and thought it was broken and so I showed some concern for her as I thought I should and she responded with tears.

My prayer for her now is the Holy Spirit causes the wine she is drinking to become bitter gall in her mouth instead or something sweet, so that she can return to the better wine of Christ Jesus.

 Re:

Update for the prayer warriors praying for my family. First off THANK YOU for your continued prayer and support in all of this.

My wife in her own words plans on getting a divorce, yet has some reservation to going through it all, or at least that is what I heard in her voice yesterday on the phone. I have expressed with her many times my desire for restoration of our family, that Christ loves her and that I love her. She told me it would be much easier if I hated her guts instead of cared about her so much, I simply told her it wasn't in me to do that.

Every night when praying with my kiddos, we pray for mommy that God soften her heart and fill it with forgiveness and love for this situation. I plan on going to a prayer meeting today and pressing in for my family.

Before I really wanted to give up because of the disrespect I was getting but since then she started showing me some respect and it has greatly helped. Last night was the first time we talked for a long while and didn't end up angerily yelling at each other or hanging up the phone, which was a great feeling.

I heard many ifs in our conversation which to me brings hope to my heart because before there were definites. Patiences has been the virtue of choice this experience and God has taught me patience to an even deeper degree. Please pray for myself and my wife to continue to heal what Satan tried to severe and to restore what Satan tried to break. It's only going to be by Christ and for Christ this marriage is going to work and be healed. Pray also for my family to have a heart of forgive should the restoration process begin.

Thank you again for your prayers and thoughts they are appreciated. In Christ ALONE!

Well, Praise God for "ifs" - such a little word can carry such big hope...continuing with you in prayer. Thank you for the update.

 Re:

Thank you all for your prayers! I can say God is moving in the midst of myself and my wife. He is so good!

Still some reservation but I see the light at the end of the tunnel though it's still far off.

She is in Christ's hands and I pray His will be done in her heart, that whatever needs healed God would touch it. I pray it is speedy for my sanity sake but I pray the Lord continue to fill me with mercy, grace, and patience in all of this.

I have learned a lot in all of this and my heart was broken but Christ has begun His healing touch and made my heart stronger and better than before. Keep the prayers up as I feel there could be a break through any day now but to receive the patiences to wait for this break through should it be something I wait a long time for.

Thank you for your prayers.:)

God Bless,
Matthew
